Anonymity is Bankruptcy
He calls himself (and that's who the world says he is, too) "The NameTag Guy." Scott
has been wearing a name tag for more than 3024 days now (that's
over 8 years). Why? For Scott, it's all about "approachability." He asks, "What would
your life and work be like if you lived in a 'Cheers' world— a world where everybody
knows your name?" Being anonymous in this day and age is an invitation to business and
personal bankruptcy. Savvy marketers have taught for years that we have to get to know
our customers and prospects. But the question Scott is asking is, "What are you doing
now to have your prospects and customers get to know YOU?"
