Session 127
The Bag Lady Returns
Sandy Elsberg
Truth is, she never really left. Sandy Elsberg created "The Bag Lady" as the main character in her remarkable— "If you're a network marketer you have GOT TO read this"— book Bread Winner Bread Baker. At an event where I was introducing Sandy, I said that I thought Bread Winner Bread Baker was better than my own book. I told the audience that I'm very proud of The Greatest Networker…, but Sandy's book will literally have them and their new people hit the ground running, doing the business right from the start. Sandy and her book are all about the real business-of-the-business— tried and true techniques, proven over years strategies, nuts and bolts skills, rubber-meets-the-road why to, how to and who to. Sandy is one of THE best trainers in our business.

Sandy began her network marketing career 27 years ago when she was a wholistic health practitioner and joined LightForce Spirulina. She's been at the very top of seven different companies and she's destined to do it again with her current company Youngevity. In this drink from a fire hose Session, Sandy tells her story and speaks (read "trains") about the importance of the "Four Legged Horse:" Product— something you can get really excited about (and you'd tell the world about even if you didn't make a buck); The Comp Plan— does it reward you… or does it punish you? The Company— the owners have a vision and a mission, are honest and pure, operate with integrity and really stand for something; And Training— the teaching and the system that will duplicate. And that's just the beginning of what you'll learn in this jammed-packed, power-full Session from the woman known industry-wide as "The Trainer's Trainer."

About the Master

SandyElsberg

Sandy Elsberg uses the very same skills to run her multi-million dollar business that she applies to caring for her family. The inner qualities that today enable her to rival the annual income of some Fortune 500 executives are the very same qualities that once made her a dedicated and enthusiastic first grade teacher in a Brooklyn ghetto. All it takes, she'll tell you, are an open heart, unbridled energy and lots of passion.

Although her dear friend and mentor, the late Jerry Rubin, often called her the Queen of MLM, Sandy insists that "everybody's entitled to royalty," and she'll gladly teach anyone who wants to learn exactly how to earn their own crown, step-by-step.

Widely considered "the trainer's trainer" in network marketing, she regularly lectured with the Upline Master Group, a circle of industry greats which includes the likes of John Milton Fogg, who fondly refers to Sandy as "the divine Ms. E," Big Al (Tom Schreiter), Richard Brooke, Russ DeVan, Mark Yarnell and other MLM luminaries. Known for her unique style, which molds crackling wit with unabashed nurturing, she considers herself the shot of estrogen in the predominantly male group.

Sandy's trainings usually have everyone in the audience, men and women alike, furiously taking notes— in between frequent bursts of laughter and an occasional tear— but she's especially empowering to women.

"I tell them a story about an ex-school teacher, nine months pregnant with her second child, with swollen ankles the size of thighs, with no health insurance and $250,000 in debt, who sets out in her beat-up Volkswagen van without heat, air conditioning or a radio, and proceeds to earn over $11,000 during the month her baby arrives. I really treasure that story, because it's mine and I consider the number one asset in my business.

"It can be hard for many people to relate to a six-figure income when they've been scrambling under the sofa cushions for milk money, but they can identify with me because I've lived in that place called FEAR, and I know how it robs people of their power. And, I can show them a way out of it."

Along the way, Sandy's authored several books, including the industry bestseller, Bread Winner Bread Baker. She's been a regular contributor to Upline Magazine, MLM Insider and other key industry publications. She's also be quoted in Success magazine and her rags-to-riches story is woven throughout the pages of Richard Poe's Wave III and Who Stole the American Dream.

Sandy's MLM organizations typically resemble "a company within a company." Throughout her 27 plus years in the industry, she's consistently built organizations that generated millions of dollars annually, achieving the top distributor status in several MLM companies.

Nonetheless, Sandy insists she's still really a teacher at heart. "It is my great privilege to teach others how to become a master copy worth duplicating in their business. This is an industry that allows me to honor my own priorities while rewarding me richly for sharing my abundance with others. For me, MLM is the embodiment of what the poet, Kahlil Gibran, meant when he said, "Work is love made visible."

Sandy resides in Orange County, California, with her two daughters, Eleah and Anna. Sandy sets aside time from her busy schedule to work with sincere people who are passionate about their MLM careers.
