The Coming Network Marketing BUST

The world economy is going to hell in a hand-basket— a basket with holes in the bottom and a broken handle held together tenuously with bailout wire and more than a few (billion) prayers. Should be the best of times for mlm network marketing and direct sales— the opportunity of owning your own home business being one of the few incandescent financial lights amid all the gloom and doom. But is it? Or is this economic situation completely different from all the others that have come before where networkers and their enterprises have thrived?

Back in 2002, Len Clements created an audio program called "The Coming Network Marketing BOOM! where he gave eight "rock solid" reasons our industry was destined to explode. It didn't then. It hasn't yet. Will it— ever? As Len digs deeper into his research, little or nothing he finds causes him to change his predictions. He re-did the audio in 2006 and you can listen to it here: The Coming Network Marketing Boom.

I asked Len to take another look— through today's 2008 sun glasses and let us know if he saw BOOM or BUST. Although I know it's bad form to deliver the punch line early… it's not bust. Some things are slowing the boom down, but Len's still convinced mlm's best days are ahead of us. That's what this Session is all about.
